Mariyka and her mother are from Kharkiv, they have been living in Poltava for 100 days. “The people of Poltava are the kindest, most responsive, most friendly people of Ukraine,” said Lyudmila. The family hid from shelling and rockets in the basement of their building for a long time. After losing many friends to bombings, they decided to leave. Her eldest son and her husband had to stay in the city.
