At LIFEUA, we believe that every child deserves moments of joy, safety, and normalcy — especially during times of war.
The zoo trips we organize are much more than simple excursions. They are carefully planned opportunities for children to step away from sirens, uncertainty, and daily stress. Children living through conflict often carry invisible emotional burdens: anxiety, fear, disrupted routines, and constant tension. Even when they appear strong, prolonged stress can affect their development, sleep, concentration, and overall wellbeing.

A day at the zoo creates something powerful — a return to childhood. Surrounded by nature, animals, laughter, and friends, children can relax, explore, and rediscover curiosity instead of fear. These moments help regulate emotions, reduce stress, and remind them that joy and stability are still possible, even in difficult times.

What makes these initiatives even more meaningful is the international solidarity behind them. People from around the world are financially supporting LIFEUA to make these experiences possible. Their generosity turns donations into real smiles and lasting memories.
We would like to sincerely thank Jan van Delden from the Netherlands and Diane de Champlain from Canada for their support and kindness. Their contributions directly help Ukrainian children experience moments of relief, safety, and happiness.
Thank you to everyone who supports LIFEUA. Your compassion and generosity truly make a difference.
If you are looking for a way to support children in Ukraine, we invite you to donate to LIFEUA. Together, we can continue protecting childhood, restoring hope, and bringing light into difficult times.
