Thanks to Diane’s support, children at a school in Poltava, eastern Ukraine, received a very personal gift: a notebook personalized with each child’s name, together with a pen — a wonderful gift to start the new school year.
In times of war, such gestures can mean so much. These gifts bring smiles, create moments of happiness, and remind children that, despite the difficult reality surrounding them, there are people far away who think about them, care about them, and want to bring joy into their lives.
The personalized notebooks added a special touch to the gifts and brought genuine smiles and excitement to the children. Moments of happiness and normal childhood are particularly precious in the face of war.
